Was walking on a park trail and saw it, and felt badly for the tree.
Parks are by nature "artifical nature" and our local cedars (junipers really) are considered invasive water-hogs...but this cedar got a paifully bad mangling.

Makes me think of a popsicle stick after it's been chewed on and the yummy stuff is all gone. Very thought provoking. ; )
