I wrassled with the topic for a while, and I think my grumblyness manifested in the quickness and surliness of the guy.
And there's nothing more annoying when one is surly and grumbly than some darn cosmic bluebird-of-happiness exploding into view, trying to clean up those dark snarly thoughts.
What a great contrast between that ever cheerful bird and Mr. Grouchy! The bird's trying to whisk away his bad thoughts, but they seem too dark and muddled. What a neat idea and a great excution...it has that quick feeling that comes when ou get a "flash of brilliance" and know what you want to convey. I like it!
