Glad for the comments! Found this at the back entrance to a concrete factory -- think they make pre-stressed highway spans and the like.
It was a color shock, since the surrounding area was covered with concrete dust. Even the nearby trees were pale grey-white and dusty (but not photogenic enough to catch.)
I love old signage, I sometimes take a walk around here in Lille to see what I can find, it is amazing how much there still is. It almost looks like writing on water with that reflection.
