    so mesmerizing
    captivating
and i don't know why but the word
    delicious pops into my head
    from my eyes
    not my mouth
wonderful wonderful universe is the world of teensy tiny plants on rocks
    oh yeah, lichen

  2. And no action painting ever looked any better (because none feel like this one, passionate stroke -- rapidly made over the course of a few million years)

  6. You do have a way with titles, Lori!

The lichen colors would seem to clash if used in a painting; somehow nature can get away with flaunting all of our aesthetic "rules". Another example: green forested hills topped by a cerulean sky.
