I could never over how blue the light is there, so unlike the greens, golds and silvers of midatlantic light.

I don't know about the Mediterranean, but if the light is blue there, then yes, I know exactly what you mean!Reya Mellickerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13076092659507965666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19290845.post-77916669680970614772007-05-13T05:19:00.000-07:002007-05-13T05:19:00.000-07:00Welcome back, Lori.I agree with you, about the blu...Welcome back, Lori.
I agree with you, about the blue sky and the two value light on the white walls.Pedrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16146536115015122849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19290845.post-21611120135296816152007-05-12T22:09:00.000-07:002007-05-12T22:09:00.000-07:00Your intuition is spot on, Lori! Unfortunately these attributes attract more and more people. All the more reason to learn to enjoy our local biomes, which may not be as spectacular, but which are nonetheless quite worthy of informed attention.Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13215738689578440672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19290845.post-11565546313732235662007-05-12T19:26:00.000-07:002007-05-12T19:26:00.000-07:00ooh I love that top one - so futureyooh I love that top one - so futureyBill Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04886959392532689552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19290845.post-76412271141647404222007-05-12T14:04:00.000-07:002007-05-12T14:04:00.000-07:00not the architecture, i don't think, but the light...not the architecture, i don't think, but the light could well be mediterranean for what i know.polonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12631341810150848122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19290845.post-51314618351733896972007-05-12T06:56:00.000-07:002007-05-12T06:56:00.000-07:00Although I haven't lived in California since 1973,...Although I haven't lived in California since 1973, I grew up not too far from San Jose. That light remains clear in my mind, though. I can remember being 2 years old, outdoors, in that light. Van Gogh thrived artistically in Mediterranean light. I am grateful for having lived in that light for the years I did. Thanks for these photos.amhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09212213177713917828noreply@blogger.com
