before being felled by whatever bug hit me, I'd picked up a book at the médiathèque on the frescoes of Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile of Albi. The blue pigment in those frescoes is the one mentioned in Amy Clampitt's poem.
Be well. I'm working on being better. (word verif says: torpo. Add a final r and that describes me pretty well at the moment.) :-)
