Here's the backstory to this cool fluid pic. I was out wandering with my friend Henry, getting a bit of photo coaching (see Henry's site at http://www.hfriedmanphotographer.com/) when we saw this fountain beneath a bank building.
From a half a block away, it looked rather uninteresting...but as we got closer, I found some parts I liked a lot. That's water flowing over rippled glass, BTW. So the reminder for me is...look. Look. Look again...beauty everywhere.
Beautiful, Lori--and so cool, nice on this hot day and night. You are so right about beauty being everywhere--and so talented at pointing and saying to us "hey, look!"
Is it water going between two plates? Or some kind of jalousy?
