Ipomoea indica

Slowly getting untangled...

The Massive Work Project has been wrapped and was successful (others looming, of course) and the Bad Tooth is now rendered harmless.

Missed y'all while I was gone, and will be visiting lots this weekend. And thanks so very much for the bouquet of comments -- what a lovely "get well and come back soon" they've been for me!

It's so nice to see you and your eye back. Missed both.

He walks up and knocks. Waits. Knocks...and the door opens. Welcome back. And of course, you can play. Seduction is such a fun game, don't you think?

My eye(s) and I are off to ramble north of town...but before I do:

Ref -- Back atcha, and missed those elegant classically-structured poems of yours too.

Larry -- This ipomoea is both blessing and curse. I got a tiny, 2" cutting from the wife of an illustrator I knew (apparently it doesn't propogate by seed), greedy as I was for that amazing blue flower, and now have to take a flame-thrower or machete to keep it from over-running everything at the front of our house including the door and porch. This pic was taken behind a record store, where the afternoon light was slant and their impomoea was over-running a fence.

Stewart -- Oh, fun indeed! Glad I can play too...

Just dropping by to say, "Hi!" Hope all is well with you.

Ipomoea indica wasn't in my latin vocabulary (not much is, frankly), but when I looked it up... Ah, glory be. If you think THAT's hard to get rid of, try slaying a hardy wisteria! What I thought was interesting that if you dehydrate i. indica it is supposed to be good for your joints. If you can't kill it, maybe you can sell it. Stay well!

Ah, to have a little morning glory or kudzu trouble... The only thing that overruns me now is dratted snow.

Sorry to hear about the Unfortunate Tooth.

Lori, you've been missed! Glad to see you are getting out from under it all.

Glad the tooth is under control, Lori. There's nothing worse. The flower is a lovely colour. I'd like to have that growing on my walls.
