Concrete poetry

"Their lives
held in the arms
of the waves."

Archilochos, huh? Have to love a guy who wrote:

"Some barbarian is waving my shield,
since I was obliged to
leave that perfectly good piece of equipment behind
under a bush.
But I got away, so what does it matter?
Life seemed somehow more precious."

Got his priorities straight, that's for sure.

Yep, Archilochos was a pretty concrete guy.

Gorgeous.

I love the fact that on your photo there are these two opposites if you will. On the one corner, earth and all that is grounded. On the other corner water and magic which is represented by the twinkle of light on the surface. And then I start imagining a whole world down there filled with magical creatures. But that's just me and my vivid imagination.

Btw, I answered you on the Roomba post yesterday.
