Glass flow

I love the way you can see textures in ordinary "stuff." It looks like ice. If it's glass, what the heck is it?

Is it water going between two plates? Or some kind of jalousy?

All I know is... it's really hot right now... and this looks really cool... and so I want to be there not here!

Hi y'all!

Here's the backstory to this cool fluid pic. I was out wandering with my friend Henry, getting a bit of photo coaching (see Henry's site at
http://www.hfriedmanphotographer.com/)
when we saw this fountain beneath a bank building.

From a half a block away, it looked rather uninteresting...but as we got closer, I found some parts I liked a lot. That's water flowing over rippled glass, BTW. So the reminder for me is...look. Look. Look again...beauty everywhere.

Beautiful, Lori--and so cool, nice on this hot day and night. You are so right about beauty being everywhere--and so talented at pointing and saying to us "hey, look!"

I haven't been here in WAY too long. I love your architectural eye!

Man. Without the back story I was thinking, "Okay, antique blown glass window sculpture in the shape of louvers"

Yeah, right :)
