Corn fields freak my freak...I've seen too many movies where weird bizness goes on in them! ;o) They are nice to look at....in the daytime!

I like the way a visual fabric is maintained even while the metaphor plays on different levels ... okay, I actually have no idea what I am talking about but I like the picture.

Very clean feel to this. Makes me want to go places. Like maybe out into that field.

I do miss seeing all that corn growing! Our small town would have a corn fesitval every year right before school started back up. Well, they still do, I'm just not there any more.

The corn is as high as an elephant's eye, and it looks like it climbing clear up to the sky...oh, I'm sorry, that's Oklahoma and you're in Texas.

This is just before the invasion in Signs isn't it? Yeah, I remember. Then the aliens come down after seeing the markers in the crop circles...they eat all the corn and then die from not being able to digest the kernels. Stupid aliens. We've evolved enough to know that you can't digest ALL of the corn...plus it makes our poop colorful. At least that's what they tell you at the Popcorn Festivals.

I love this photo.

I posted some kansas farmland photos last fall on my blog - the first one is reminiscent of this one. Very cool.

When I clicked on this one for larger, I was all YES! Amazing difference. The sky is so fabulous, so TEXAS. And then I posted one my very self (on Pamenagerie) that needs the same thing to really see it - click to enlarge. Now I'm click click clicking on everything!

You guys are cracking me up with the movie references...dang, I should have been looking for a plane overhead rather than for a moment where the wind held still!

PamD, glad you got clicking! Now, when you can, puhhlleeeeze post a link to Pamenagerie somewheres so I can find you again!
