Ooh, it looks like a skeletal hand creeping up the wall! Wonderful contrast between its linear greenness and the stolid, dun-colored building.
Eek! The hand... the creeping hand...Seriously, I love how you've captured a determined bit of life in such a desolate context.
At first I didn't see it. And then suddenly I did - an ominous green hand slowly, quietly inching its way up the building's wall to strangle it.
The building is an old wreck back behind some railroad tracks, and I was curious about it...circled around, got out of my car and wandered a bit -- and saw the vines.I just grinned -- they reminded me of a Dr. Seuss character.If you click to enlarge, they really are what I've heard referred to around here as Virginia Creeper.
What a great old building...it looks like the "hand" is Mother Nature's 1st attempt to reclaim this space as her own. Great shot!
This is one of the finest shots I've seen of yours and it'd be interesting to see it in B&W. Just wonderful work.
