What it's all about

"...perhaps the answer is simply one:
one female angel dancing alone in her stocking feet,
a small jazz combo working in the background. ..."

From "Questions About Angels" by Billy Collins

A quick update 2/12, with a few excessively cute linkages -- Murry and I are back home, all is better although we are both worn out.

Thank you for sending wishes for courage, whether public or private, our way.

It was much appreciated.

I LOVE this saying. It cracks me up for some reason and your reply...:)

If it is all about the Hoeky Pokey, painting your car like it escaped the 60's is probably a good option.

The hokey pokey. Who knew? Thanks, kid. Now, who goes to tell the guru on the mountain and this poor bugger over here

Hi,
I stopped for a full moon visit to see your latest posts.

Take good care of yourselves until your energy returns. You've both been through the wringer. Your sense of humor (especially the excessively cute), the Hokey Pokey bumper sticker photo, and choice of "Questions About Angels" go well together. Something about balancing levity and gravity on the head of a pin :-)

You and Murray have been in my thoughts, but I've been tongue-tied until today.

Hi everyone...got back from the hospital yesterday, and Murry had a spectacularly not-good reaction to some new meds, so this morning was not the right kind of exciting.

I think it's all slowly getting better now. Anyway, that new pic with the treehouse is sure where I'd like to be.

Gary: Hey, glad you got a grin from it! The car was about as fun and funny as the bumper-sticker, what with its crayolas-on-acid swirling paint job...

Marta: And the fuzzy and multiply-pierced-and-tattooed people at the house who said "sure!" to my request for a picture of the car were all under 25. Just goes to show you that hippies are here to stay.

R.L.: :-)

Princess: Glad there was enough light from the moon for you to find your way here and back!

KPW: :-)

Raindoggy: Thank goodness for random acts of weirdness.

AM: Thanks ever so much. Tongue-tied is fine. I've been there myself.

Glad you're back home, and hoping that Murry stabilizes quickly. That's no fun.

Hope things are much better now--and hope Murry feels like putting the right foot in, the right foot out. And maybe even shaking it all about some time soon.

Lori, I hope they're all here to stay--the hippies, the goths, the preps, the whole kit and kaboodle. Otherwise we might as well paint all the trucks the same color and be done.
