Hello!I got my laptop back today!I'm so happy!I was going crazy without it and Internet!I survived doing a lot of paper cutting!I have plenty of new collage work- 21 new collages are waiting to be scanned.Unfortunately I lost a lot of information, photos, scanned collages... I really should backup EVERYTHING but I forget that too easily ...and trust too much in luck. It's second time it happens.A lot of work lost. All my Corel illustrations are lost. When I learned about it almost I almost went sick. It's hard work. And I'm starting.Well, I will start again!!I missed contact with the "usual suspects" of my blog.I don't know when I'll start updating because things aren't 100% yet.My modem (a friend borrowed the one I'm using)is also ruined and I must get a new one.A lot of money going out...........Uff!Check you soon!

Sorry, I can't leave (leaf) this alone but all growing things reach for the light. You are one such light.

Isn't that what we're all doing all the time?

Hi everyone -- it's Sopranos Night at Chez Witzel, so grabbing a moment to visit before I watch James Gandolfini and Co.

pmbc: Your comments, like your sketches, inspire. I suppose I need to learn Portuguese now so I can read more of your blog!

raiandog: I felt like a giant crawling under these, and when I saw the photo I felt like I was as small as a ladybug. The garden was pretty magical...and also full of grass burrs (ow ow ow.)

Belinha: OMG, thank goodness you got a working computer again! Am so sorry you lost a bunch of art -- reminds me to back up again this weekend. But glad you're (almost) back!

Ed: What glowing praise -- it lights me right up! (And you know I had to pun back.)

MB: I sure hope so. Trust the warm reception you've gotten since returning from rafting has thawed your cold hands?

Dave: Thanks dude! Now I need to run off and see what you've been up to, and hope my thoughts fly fast enough to leave a comment before the DVD fires up...
