Nice colors!!Today I bought another book on how to learn spanish.I told you: next year I'll learn it!!:-)So we'll be both learning a new language. But I think that your job is harder. Portuguese and spanish are similar, I think.Feminine and masculine is a problem. And verbs...eehehh! I had problems with it in french!!!!!That's why english is so cool. Those leafs have such a nice shape and color...
Hey everybody -- hope all y'all's (just love that phrase) Monday wasn't too manic!
Belinha: If you knew how slowly I learn languages, you would laugh at how hard my job will be to learn Portuguese (that's why I liked to draw -- everyone, mostly, understands a sketch.) Thx for the leaf note!
RfR: I bought a friend a birthday lunch, and as we were leaving the restaurant I couldn't resist this dumpster. Beauty in the oddest of corners.
MB: Felt very much like that to me too. Also reminded me of Richard Diebenkorn's paintings. And ongoing apologies for being so scarce in your blog-neighborhood, job's been crazy.
Stewart: And (tweak tweak) you submitted that same comment 3 times. The image must have overwhelmed you to make your hands shake that much!
Raindog: Thx! It's so nice to see y'all get into a texture fiesta with me.

Colors of the sunset, or clay canyons.

There's something neat about the grain of the wood in this picture and the pieces pointing out.
