I just tried sketching from a photograph, Lori, inspired as I have been by your talented offerings. After looking at the result, I shall be sticking with the camera :o(
Laura: Went by your site all too quickly today and your master copies and sketch of your streppish kiddo just blew me away -- so lovely and rich and, well, I need to delve deeper.
Charlie and Larry: Can you throw a ball? Accurately toss a frisbee? Then you too can learn the draw. Seriously. The hard part is the "why" and the "what" -- I realize I may sound as if I'm minimizing a challenging skill, but throwing a ball well is equally challenging...and both are learnable kinesthetic skills. Those "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" books, while too cute or something for me, do transmit useful info.
Tom G.: Aw shucks. I need more practice, but glad some things knit together in a resonant way.

The curve of the back leading into the neck on the guy in the center is perfection.
Well, now y'all are making me blush.
