I could not bear to change the perfect 4 comments on the pool photo and Berryman quote to 5--but how witty of you. And this, with a bit from one of my favorite Bishop poems--wonderful. I heard her read many many years ago in a little room at Yale. Shamefully few people attending, and she in a plain black dress, very understated. The poems were, of course, amazing.
