Early morning light in central Florida

"...never to forget
My lost bearings. In medias res we begin
And end..."

powerful stuff, Lori. Much to think about. For now I leave with the poem's "...few tiny but effective words" and Ford's closing remarks in the article: "All writing depends on other writing." As all life feeds on life - but the story doesn't sound the same told by the grass, by the gazelle, by the lion or by the bacteria feasting on his wounds.
Oh boy. And how was that for a light-hearted comment?
Does this poem + pic mean you're back from the fair?
