Hi everyone! Thanks tons for stopping by and scribbling...it's always a delight to "see" you and read your comments.
MB: Just have to be a little "off" I guess. :-) Actually, have always had sort of a gift for finding unusual things, and I feel a little sad when I wander and don't.
Ref: I missed my chance to find out -- could've knocked but didn't. Suspect they're artists, which may constitute some kind of sect, but will have to go back to learn more.
Pedro: Thanks! Hard one to catch -- the sunlight was very strong, but the whole doorfront was in shadow, so had to get in close to avoid having too dark an image.
Ed: It's all our studio doors...
Trev: Another reason I should've knocked!
Tim: Judging by the cast-off paintings and loose construction debris (cropped out) I think it's just Art in some form or another. But, then again, maybe it is a sect...

I swear, Lori, I do not know how you find such interesting and curious stuff... all the time!
So is this the door to some sect, or simply a metaphor. Nice work.
What a beautiful composition.
Maybe not a sect door, but an artist studio...
Is this your studio door (lol)?
Cool. Now I know where to go when the North Koreans and/or Iranians launch their rockets.
Fascinating door. I wonder what the significance of the label above it is.
Love this! Unusual entrances always make great photo subjects.

SURVIVAL....Sounds like this would be something found in stage description for a play by Tenessee Williams.
I agree with the other folk..you have a knack for finding the most out of the way, offbeat, quirkish and curious subjects.
