Visit the always-surprising writing, art, and poetry in Qarrtsiluni.

The word "qarrtsiluni"? It's Inuit for sitting together in the darkness, waiting for something to burst.

I have a fresh poem posted there -- go see.

Wow, that's another great poem, and you see to be able to produce them with ease.

That's the skill, though, isn't it. :-D

Oh Mise, glad you like but...I wish!

Am fortunate to be inspired by others' writing and by getting some topic focus...but it's a very unpredictable process, this painting-with-words thing.

In a lot of ways the reason I've fallen into photography is because my constant "looking" -- combined with the gift of a digital camera -- is a very productive way to populate a blog with fresh content.

Poems and drawings are slower to ripen, and I believe that fresh things make a livelier internet stop for folks.

I just discovered Qarrtsiluni (probably during a web-wander from Dave Bonta's site) only to find a poem of yours there!

The poem is a keeper for sure... it really captured some of the appeal of using the I Ching. Very nice use of language!
