Indoors: The Heartbroken Copier
You will need to click each of these to enlarge to readable size. This dialogue was found where I work, each sheet taped neatly to one copier.

Is there anything sadder than obsolete technology? I imagine that in some bar, the Timex-Sinclair Computer is buying a drink for the Apple 2c+. At a table nearby, the UHF Converter Box for analog tv's is singing senile songs about women without navels. And by the door, an ominous dot matrix printer sits ominously, challenging anyone who would think of reaching for his three prong plug before he feels his time has come.

This is pretty funny...although it makes me think that someone has an awful lot of free time at your office! :D

Hope you're having a great weekend, Lori! c",)

Now I know why the people at Atari have a museum for all their old stuff. A bit of appreciation goes a long way. :D

That's cute. Yes, the graveyards of old technology are sad - have a look at our garage and storage room. We can hardly wait for the recycling program to kick in here next year.

My favorite memo is the set of instructions on how to use the toilet and how not to use the toilet, taped on the doors to the women's bathroom stalls at FSG: exhaustive, meticulous, hyper-correct.

This memo, however, must be feeling happy in company with the dumpster, the mixers, and David. I suggest that the copy machine would like to hang with David and the mixers.

I loved it! Thank God for mobile abilities….lol. I find myself propped against many walls, gently redirecting busy on-goers. I smile; they scowl….we both fade.
