I love the slightly Moorish shape to the walled-in windows. The detailing and date on the larger building. The combination of blue and pink. And the breathing space between the two structures. very soulful indeed, Lori.
I have never seen so much old stuff looking so beautiful as in your blog. Chipped paint, rust, nasty puddles, old warehouses I can't imagine going into alone. You are one brave woman with an amazing eye and sensibility.

Delightful linking of your photo with Emily Dickinson!
Love the Texas light that Georgia O'Keeffe fell in love with, too, in her first visit to the American Southwest.
Now there's a connection. Emily and Georgia are kindred spirits in their creative solitude.
Another for the keeper file.

And now you're channeling Edward Hopper?
