GrannyJ: Actually, she's spankin' new, and the burger joint is by comparison a bit old. I have no idea why they picked a rockabilly chick for their new roof-topper...perhaps it's the presence of the nearby Continental Club, and all the cool cats and kitties there, that did it.

S: Oh, I wish I had. I was kinda puny this weekend, so the pic was from a couple of weeks ago, when I went to meet a friend for dinner and had a couple of hours to wander near downtown Austin. Alas, too puny to travel this past weekend, but maybe the coming weekend I'll be back to high-octane and more road trippin'.

I was taken aback by the guitar. I too thought she was a relic of, say, 1964, but the guitar wasn't possible until decades later than that...
