Need. Faster. Handsandeyes.



I sit, watching, waiting, looking for interesting faces, contrasting shapes.

I let my gaze float, striving for a peripheral find that won't attract attention to me. I hold my breath, hoping they'll hold still for just a moment lon--

Darn. They got up to leave.

*sigh*

This is exactly one of the things I appreciate about your sketches — done on the fly (so to speak), you go fishing for the right face, the right contour, the right moment, and set the hook, but will you have any reeal time or is it too late and they slip away? Shimmering, elusive, mere moments...
