Off to a community organizer's meeting (I hate it when these are scheduled in the morning). Lovely start to my day, however, to dip my mind into your creek, a creek which could easily have meandered through my meadows.
Hi folks! Taking not-enough-time to respond happily and inadequately to all your comments.
Jarvenpa: If you had to work on the weekend, glad I could provide a small respite. Your comment made me think that perhaps there's one creek only, and it dips and meanders through all our meadows. It's some solace to me, living in the 'burbs around Austin, that a stream close to the metro heart looks wild enough to remind you, Bear Country person, of your wild areas.
Mauricio: Thanks for stopping by! I so love your work -- glad to see you're still sharing art-friends.
MB: In the heart of urban Austin, although I wish it was in the back of beyond. I take my wilderness where I can find it.
Laurie: You're so welcome -- and thanks for enjoying the dappled light!
Ref: Somehow I knew (or was hoping, at least) you would. ;-) My favorite part? The bits of grass poking in from the left side.
Frank: I am aways so glad to "see" you! Loved all your varied comments -- your poetic self shines through.

Nice stretch of water... suburbia again?? ;-)
(I never know with you!)
This looks like such a lovely little creek. I like the way the light is hitting the rocks at the top of the frame.
Thanks for dropping in on my blog.
I love this photograph!
natural mirrors...
