I recall now the movie The Day of the Triffids ...

I didn`t know the english word tendril, but I did know "dendrit", that branched part of a neuron cell - and the sound is so similar - I am sure that both of them came from the same idiomatic root

Hey Lori...I love taking photos of flowers and leaves and fields. When I see how nice they look on your blog, it encourages me to start posting some of them. I haven't managed to come up with the Irish word for cornucopia..but it's a lovely description, thank you. Now I have to live up to it! :-D
