Momentary finds

Per Laura's request, I am now going to sketch and post daily (yikes!) I'm not always happy with my proportionate eye, but accuracy of proportion will likely improve with practice. I hope what I sketch and post is of interest -- knowing I've made the intention public will keep me practicing, so thanks in advance for your patience.

Even a utility pole wants to see things more clearly.

I love your sketches, they have such life. And speaking of life, how is it possible little green leaves could be growing from the utility pole??

For years I worked as a cable tv tech either climbing poles or digging holes.

Those are known in the 'biz as "pole specs".

Ah, Laura is an inspiring example! To do anything worthwhile every day...

I love your sketches. It's great you will be posting more of those. Have you seen Chris Ware's sketchbook? I think you would like that. It's a beautiful book to have. There's a new Robert Crumb sketchbook out as well, which is amazing. I like the idea of sketching as a form of diary writing...

Wow! I feel like I rubbed the magic lantern! I'm so glad you've decided to do this---you'll see an amazing development in your work. I certainly have in mine. Oh, I'm so excited for you! I'll be here daily, too!

Yes! It will improve, but I personally really like your sketches.
I have tagged you by the way! I was tagged by Sweat Pea and I am passing on the favour. See my blog for the questions or ignore as you wish.
Have a great holiday Lori.
