Redbird, headstone

"...It is a red bird that seeks out his choir
Among the choirs of wind and wet and wing.
A torrent will fall from him when he finds.
Shall I uncrumple this much-crumpled thing? ..."

From "Le Monocle de Mon Oncle" by Wallace Stevens

Oy. It's Stevens, all right.

(Stevens being a particular bete noire of mine, for reasons I've never managed to make intelligible to anyone :->)

Good shot --I can never seem to get a decent shot of the knick knacks on the graves here, most are so faded.

"anecdotal bliss" says Wallace Stevens. It describes this photo very well.
