I was lucky to spot this. It is a real testament to the power of the life-force (and by extension creative energy.)

And for anyone wondering, it's in a small North Carolina coastal town very close to where Blackbeard had his base of operations.

This is quite a serene scene.

I've heard that if you chop down a tree in North Carolina that Blackbeard's headless corpse haunts you until you find him Ted Williams' frozen head & then plant Katie Holmes placenta in the ground under a sapling. (It's a little known fact that Blackbeard's ghost is a member of GreenPeace. Has been since the 70's)
