Dry field

"...Mm-mm, I sure do have the blues today:
Baby, will you give me some sugar?"

From "Sugar Cane" by Alfred Corn

Just a lil' bit of a blue Monday, wishing it was Sunday...

oh yeah. Hang in there, Lori. They tell me once you get real good at hanging in there, you can do the trapeze lady spinning by her teeth (if you don't lose your dentures first - in my case, there seems to be a slackening of the partial on my...oops....catch you later)
xx

Hey all y'all!

RL: Was a much more pleasant re-entry at work today than I'd thought I'd have, so *whew!* on not having my shoulders rise up around my ears quite so fast. Am sure something will spin out tomorrow... :-)

Raindoggie: Not unless you've been hiding on some back roads near suburbs north of Austin. (And if you have, doooood, we need to get a cup o' coffee!) I found this field courtesy of a friend who keeps her eyes open wide while on her bike. Nice rusty buildings as well, but too far off for my preference.

Oh, clouds. Clouds are good. I am so tired of smoke and fires--we have fires on every side where I am now, and the air is half ash.
Of course, the sunsets and sunrises are really beautiful--the moon is bright orange at night.
And I keep hearing that someday the fires will be in control.
