Extra Sweet

The light was pineapple-golden, but Blogger wrung out some of the sweetness.
Still, I thought it tasty enough to share.

Was this, by any chance, at that glorious fruit and vegetable market in Austin?

Pineapple! For years I did not like it.Now I do.We have good ones from our islands-Azores or Madeira, I'm not sure.

I got your mail today!!Calendar is on my desk!I knew that thing about the bats, I saw a documentary about it. (I enjoy docs on wild life, animals and so.)

I'm preparing a pack to send you.Do not give it to dog either!!It's also a cake but I did not cook it (of course.) But it's one of my favourite traditional portuguese sweets/products. That's why I'm sending it to you. Very strong flavour. It has got honey and almonds.I eat very tiny pieces of it at time. It's from Madeira Island.Went to three different shops to get it!!I have it now.Uffff!Probably I'll go to the post office tomorrow. :-)

Oh, today a friend(?!!!) of mine phoned me and told me the worse possible about publishers.Rrrrrrrrrrr...I really got upset! He told me that it would be easier for me to marry the Pope than to find a publisher for my little book...:-(

I am divided between the pie and the pineaples.
Both are very tempting.

Is this the secret of the busy, multi-blog life? Sweet, sweet pineapples?
