Yellow, blue, green, or
No classes during the summer

"...The space we love is unwilling to remain permanently enclosed. It deploys and appears to move elsewhere without difficulty; into other times, and on different planes of dream and memory. ..."

why must people always remind me that the summer is winding down and that the school year is coming...

hey lori...Jon Zech and I were sitting talking and he mentioned your blog as a regular read. He and I agree, it's a wonderful place to come, sit back and look.

Lori, your blog is worthy of great accolades. Will you settle for a small but sincere award, available at my place?

Dear Lori,
Tongue in Cheek sent me your way this morning. You know how we all bring our own world into another's art? Your subtle yet powerful words and photo remind me of how temporal our actual living space is. That is what is on my mind. I have moved so much and set up so many places to live. My husband calls our stuff "props".
I love Austin. Have a great day and next time you go to Tresor, think of me!

Magical . . . and thank you so much for sharing the quote from The Poetics of Space! I am going right out to purchase this as spaces are something I understand and absolutely love to feel, think about, create . . . I will definitely be writing about this in the near future.
Thanks again for inspiring me.
